happy {in a pocket}

Happy Friday to ya!  ;D

This week has flown by for me!  For you too??

I have so many friends and family members whose birthdays are around this time of year, so I took advantage of Mojo Monday's latest sketch {again, I's a regular occurrence with me}, but I also made it do double duty for a new {to me} challenge {thanks, Jeanne for pointing me in her direction!}.  It's Darnell's NBUS challenge, which is an acronym for Never-Before-Used-Schtuff...boy, do I have a lot of things to choose from in that department!  And I'll bet you do too --come on, just admit it.  ;)
So here's what I came up with:

The Wonderful Words: Birthday die and coordinating stamp set are both NBUS --LoVe that phrase! lol}, as well as the Confetti Garland Borders stamp set where the sweet little heart came from {all supplies are by Papertrey Ink}.

And here's a better shot of the little tag tucked inside the pocket:

Well, it's about time for me to head out to pick up the kids.  I hope you enjoy your weekend!

BTW, Darnell's challenge ends tonight, so if you haven't played along yet, you've still got a little time. {Oh, and even if you're not going to participate in the challenge, if you want to drool a little lot over her stamp "room," you will not be disappointed.  She's quite a character too, so you'll appreciate her humor even if you find yourself coveting her playhouse. ;P }

Thanks for the visit, and I hope you'll stop by again soon. Until then, many blessings to you!
Supplies {finally!} shown some lovin':

Cardstock:  White Daisy, Creme Brulee, Pink Carnation {CTMH}; vellum {Papertrey Ink}
Designer Paper:  Everyday Flair 6x6 collection {My Mind's Eye}

Gorgeous, Christi! Ooooh, the lucky recipient will be all smiles after opening up this absolutely beautiful card. I adore the papers you used. They evoke such warmth, coziness and cheer. Charming is another word that comes to mind. Adore what you have created and I'm so happy you chose to join Darnell's challenge. I'm not a challenge enterer usually, but she is so worth the effort. And I totally and completely agree about that Playhouse! I hope you all have a terrific weekend. Hugs!!

Wow! Well, you haven't lost your MOJO, that's for sure! This card is beautiful! You have quite an eye for pattern play. Everything is working together so beautifully. LOVE the idea of the tag, too! And that sugar coated heart makes me smile.

I've joined in Darnell's challenges in the past. She is a hoot!

Well, hello, there, Christi! I don't believe I've had a stamp monkey join the Playhouse before so Hammy and I are quite becited to have you around! You will find us all a happy group of addicts! I'm very happy to return the compliment and be your newest follower!!

Your card is stunning! I love vellum on a card. I think it always elevates a card to a higher level of sensational and that's just what you've done here! Thank you so much for your very kind words of support and for playing in my NBUS Challenge #5 ~ which was so long ago now! I’m sorry that nursing the Mister back to good health has delayed my visit to thank you. Enjoy your day and I hope to see you again soon! Hugs, Darnell
