it takes {courage}

I've been able to stamp quite a bit these past several days, so my week is definitely off to a great start.  I feel like I'm coming alive again {not that I've felt dead or anything -lol...just haven't been able to fill my days with things that really make me smile on the inside}!! ;D  Not to say I don't enjoy my days, I do.  But I liken crafty time to a vacation or something out of the ordinary, like going to your favorite holiday spot...like some people go to Disneyland or someplace special like that.  Does that make sense?  Too bad my schedule doesn't regularly accommodate my wish that every week could be filled to the brim with crafty days.  I know, welcome to the real world.  ;P

The unseasonably warm and sunny weather we've been having lately has been really great for boosting my inspiration, and this really fun sketch by Tracy Clemente was just the jump start I needed for this card:

Okay, guess the play time is over for me today...time for me to go "accomplish" something. ;)  Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Thanks so much for the visit, and I hope you'll stop by again soon. Until then, many blessings to you!

Oh Christie, this is so pretty!!! I love the way you use stitching on your cards and they are always PERFECT! When I stitch, it looks like something a kindergartner might have done! LOL

The texture is wonderful in contrast to the precious little flowers - I love the mix! Great sentiment, too. I totally agree!

This is SO PRETTY, Christi! I love it! There is so much detail and yet not overdone. I am LOVIN' your use of the Smokey Gray ink for your sentiments...definitely going to have to pick one of those up...it's not as harsh as black, but it's darker than brown...love it! And you have done a FABULOUS job with the rolled rose die! Isn't that a fun tool? Your use of the pearls and lace...oh my word! this one takes my breath away! It's just gorgeous! You are BACK, girlfriend! Yay!!
