new mercies i {see}

Happy Sunday...and Happy March!  ;D

I hope you're enjoying a nice weekend.  It's been so sunny and warm here {no comment on our laced-up skies *sigh*}, so being outdoors was definitely on our family's to-do list.  I know spring isn't technically here for a few more weeks, but it's sure feeling like it's arrived...and I'm lovin' it!

Well, this simple card took me a bit too long to finish, but it's finally done.  I used this sketch from Unscripted Sketches as my inspiration.

I really like the daintiness of the flowers on the patterned paper, the color combination, and the softness the doily brings.  Its recipient is a very sweet older woman from our church who has been going through some eye surgeries, and, sadly, she's still experiencing some vision problems.  Rummaging through my supplies, I thought the verse was just perfect for her and I know she adores pink, so I'm hoping it will bring her a little encouragement.

Well, it's about time to get the burgers ready to hand off to my grill-master hubby.  Gotta love these beautiful days {in winter, no less!}.  Hope your weekend was filled with sunshine too. ;)

Thanks so much for the visit, and I hope you'll stop by again soon.  Until then, many blessings to you!

Beautiful card! And beautiful sentiment, in light of what your friend is going thru. I love the sparkles on the flowers and the use of the doily is perfect. So very pretty!
