wishing {you}

Where does the time go?!?  I can't believe it's Friday already...and we're planning to be on the road in a few hours to go camping for the weekend.  Before I get back to all the food prep {I really dislike cooking with the trailer's stovetop} and packing, I thought I'd pop in real quick and share a card with you.

I made it using Taylor Vanbruggen's sketch from last Friday...fully intending to get it posted before her new sketch was posted today, but the week totally got away from me --nothing new there though so I'm not at all surprised. lol  I had a lot of fun with this one.  Hope you like it.  ;)

And I loved how I found a black flower button in my stash that seemed to go with this perfectly. ;)

Enjoy your weekend --be safe and be thankful for all those Americans who have so bravely served our country to preserve our safety and many freedoms...let's just pray our country can maintain its democracy based on the principles it was founded so that their great sacrifices won't have been in vain.

Thanks so much for the visit, and I hope you'll stop by again soon. Until then, many blessings to you!

Just beautiful!!! I love this card - I've been eyeing the template and thinking I need to do something with this one - I'm sure I will one day because I've stashed to my special folders about a 6 examples now (including yours)! Enjoy your weekend!

OH, this is beautiful! I love the colors and your choice of patterned paper, and the smokey shadow embossed tab is just perfect with it. There is nothing about this card that isn't 'just right'. Love your stacking of different shaped Nesties as well!

Gorgeous! Just GoRgEoUs! I love it for all the reasons your mom shared, too! Wow!

I hope you have a great mini vacation and don't have to cook over that stove too much.

I really appreciate your sentiments about the upcoming holiday too. So very true!
