you're so {sweet}

You really are!  ;)  Thanks so much for your kind comments on my recent cards.  I'm so thankful for all of you who visit my little blog, and especially for those of you who take the time to leave me a few words of encouragement.  It means so much to me.  ;)

I hope you're having a nice weekend --whatever you're doing, wherever you are, and whatever the weather.  As for us, well, we're nestled warm and cozy inside while the snow gently falls outside, and we're hangin' out at home for the rest of the day --my hubby will be watching the Super Bowl, the kids will no doubt be playing in their make-shift fort fashioned with blankets, furniture, and belts {do you remember doing that as a kid? lol}, and I hope to be stamping in between my laundry and kitchen duties.  Not the original plan for the day, but I'm happy.  ;)

I made this card yesterday using this week's Mojo Monday sketch.  Not sure why, but I struggled a bit with this one.  And I'm thinking it was more the way I put it together than the sketch.  I mean I LoVe the patterned paper, the {Verve} stamps, and those colors -- but something's not quite right and I couldn't figure it out.  Maybe it's that I have so much of the bright yellow/gold??  {Not my favorite least when I use it...though it works well as an accent.}  Maybe it's that I didn't have a posie image that would've coordinated better with the paper?  Or maybe it's just my mood today.  I dunno.  Oh, well.  It is what it is.  Hope you like it.

Nothing out of the ordinary on this one, so I think I'll just leave it at that and spare you a novel-length post. lol

Enjoy your day!

Thanks so much for the visit, and I hope you'll stop by again soon. Until then, many blessings to you!

Ha! We still loving making forts at our house. The kids have even taken to using jumbo office clips to hold them together. Another lovely card Christi!
