{thanks} LAD...and Dad!!

Little did I know that when I created my dad's birthday card using Lizzie Anne Designs' 100th sketch and some of their darling images, that it would end up ROCKin' my world...but it did!!

In case you don't subscribe to the LAD newsletter (and I'm not sure why you wouldn't), check this out:  http://blog.lizzieannedesigns.com/company/rock-star-wednesday/  (Yes, I realize this post is a little like patting myself on the back here, but this is a {BIG} first for me and I'm just so excited, I couldn't control myself! lol)

It totally made my day when Tricia (of LAD) emailed me with the happy news, and so I wanted to share it with you and also encourage you to send in your projects to the LAD crew --they have a wonderful selection of stamps and great weekly sketch challenges.  You never know...YOU could be their next Guest Rockstar Stamper! ;D

So while I'm feeling especially honored and just a leetle bit too excited, the pressure is on.  I still need to get out my daughter's "gift" (don't ask) and some Thanksgiving cards too.  I just hope the cards I come up with using my new LAD set won't end up disappointing anyone and make them think they made a mistake by choosing me.   Wish me luck...and a LOT of creative time over the next few weeks.  I'm gonna need it!

Thanks so much for the visit --and for humoring me by reading this post-- and I hope you'll stop by again soon. Until then, many blessings to you!

Omigosh! I'm so excited for you, DD! I just know you'll do your usual fantastic job. Can't wait to see what you come up with. What an incredible honor -- LAD's very FIRST Guest Rockstar Stamper. And to think that we (I know it belongs to Dad, but I'm the one who saves them all!) have that cherished winning card right here in our possession ;-)
