on {angel's} wings

Happy Tuesday! I thought I'd give you guys a break and make this post short and sweet. ;)

Here's a card I made a while ago for one of my sister-in-laws using the 'gift angel' (she doesn't actually have a name, I don't think) from Unity's September KOM --Friendship. Love. Miracles. I love them all, but I think this is one of my favorite kits.

I paper-pieced her dress, but with the VERY poor quality photos here (so sorry!), I don't think you can tell. And I'm not sure how well it shows up, but I used some Iced Lavender Shimmerz on her wings, so they look especially pretty...at least in real life they do. ;): I hope you're all having a good week!

Thanks so much for the visit, and I hope you'll stop by again soon. Until then, many blessings to you!

Economy Boosters (just doin' my part -lol!):

Cardstock: White Daisy, Amethyst (CTMH)

Patterned Paper: Wild Asparagus "Mother" Floral (My Mind's Eye)

Stamps: Friendship. Love. Miracles. (Unity)

Ink: Timber Brown Staz-On (Tsukineko), Amethyst (CTMH)

Other: Prismacolor pencils (Sanford), odorless mineral spirits (Mona Lisa), blending stumps (Loew-Cornell), scallop edge punch (Martha Stewart), scallop and classic rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots embossing folder (Provo Craft), Iced Lavender Shimmerz (Shimmerz), Stardust Clear Gelly Roll pen (Sakura), ribbon (May Arts), silk flower (craft supply), foam mounting tape

What a CUTE card. I love the colors you used. your little gift fairy is too sweet. that cannot have been easy paper piecing that little thing! I have never seen or used shimmerz..I will have to investigate.

Christi! This is gorgeous! I can see why you like her so much, but oh boy, the patience you have for paper piecing that little thing together. Amazing! Love all the bling, too. You are so creative!
