Yay! It's the weekend and the sun is shining (kinda rare here lately -lol)!! ;D
If you're here following the Unity Kit of the Month blog hop, you should've arrived via Sara...but if not, you may want to start here at the beginning so you won't miss out on any of the wonderful things being shared today. ;)
I made this gift card holder for my mom as part of her Mother's Day gift. My mom absolutely ADORES quail (each spring she has the pleasure of watching covey after cute little covey crossing her back yard, foraging for food --they truly do travel single-file like that...sooo cute!), so from the first time I saw these little darlings included in Simple Life (March's kit of the month), I knew I would have to use them on something for her. (Turns out she saw them too, and so after more than a month of being tempted time and again, she couldn't stand it any longer and jumped on the KOM bandwagon herself! Go, Mom!! lol): Here's what it looked like when she opened it: And here's what it looked like right before (and after) we entered Michael's (yep, she spent it all! lol): On the inside, I used a few other stamps from two other KOMs (Remember Happiness, the August KOM, and Fresh Beginnings, the April KOM) --it was so easy!
Your next stop on this fun Kit of the Month love-fest is Audrey, who I'm sure will have something wonderful to share with you!
Hope you have a great weekend (even if it means having to clean your poor neglected travel trailer inside and out to get ready to go camping soon -lol)!
Thanks so much for the visit, and I hope you'll stop by again soon. Until then, many blessings to you!
